LOCATION
The Rica Bygdøy Allè Hotel is a beautiful full service hotel situated in the midst of Bygdøy Allé, one of Oslo's most charming streets with fancy shops, bars and restaurants. A gem of a hotel, Rica Hotel Bygdøy Allé opened 26th April 2000 after a total reconstruction and redecoration. The hotel has kept its historic soul combined with a modern style.
ACCOMMODATION
The hotel's rooms are decorated in bright, tasteful colours. There are a number of non-smoking rooms available for non-smokers and allergy sufferers. All rooms are equipped with TV, radio, telephone, shower/bath, trouser press and hair-dryer.
FACILITIES
It is within walking distance to Oslo's main tourist attraction, the Frognerparken. Also in the immediate vicinity are the National Art Museum, the Royal Palace and the Karl Johan street.
DINING
The Magma Bar & Restaurant is a new and modern restaurant with an exquisite cuisine located in connection with the hotel. Magma is the glowing liquid mass in a vulcano, which we relate to being dynamic, strong and warm. The restaurant offers an à la carte menu, with dishes from the four seasons. Magma seats a total of 82 persons, with additional room for 30 persons at the bar.
MEETING FACILITIES
The hotels conference department offers 3 meeting rooms with all facilities, and a capacity of up to 40 persons. We also have banquetting facilities for up to 30 persons.
